Upcoming webinar series on data collection

With the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and the suspension of data collection activities that rely on face-to-face interviewing, reliance on “non-traditional” data collection methods and big data increased worldwide. It accelerated the use of technology in all types of data collection. Data collection methods, such as phone surveys, typically used in high-income countries, are now methods employed by national statistical offices and other agencies in developing countries in rapidly increasing numbers.
To support all offices around the world in deciding which data collection effort to support and for which purpose, to help their understanding of which type of data is fit for what purpose, and to increase their knowledge to make informed decisions UNICEF Headquarters has decided to launch the Data Collection Webinar Series.
