Availability and recency of data for child-related SDG indicators
Explore below to learn about SDG data champions in the region
This dashboard has been developed to highlight the availability and recency of data for a core list of 41 child-related SDG indicators pertinent to the Europe and Central Asia region. The dashboard enables users to evaluate data availability across specific targets and indicators for 12 Sustainable Development Goals for the region and individual countries. The primary unit for these calculations is the "SERIES", which corresponds to each unique SDG indicator, consistent with the architecture of the global SDG database. The user can review data availability for all child-related indicators or drill down for specific goals, targets and indicators. The slicer makes it possible to assess the number of years during a particular period for which data are available. It's important to note that this dashboard focuses solely on data availability. For insights into progress towards achieving child-related SDG targets, please visit UNICEF's dashboard on rate of recent progress and effort required to meet child-related SDGs. The development of the dashboard was informed by similar initiatives, including the ETH-Zurich SDG Monitor.
