The Europe and Central Asia Child Inequity database proposes to leverage the extensive data generated by MICS through an augmented disaggregation of national estimates by country. This involves the cross-tabulation of data by gender (male/female), age groups, sub-national, type of settlements (rural/urban), socioeconomic status (wealth), disability status (functional difficulties), ethnicity, and language of the household head. This comprehensive approach aims to provide a nuanced understanding of inequities, enabling a more detailed and targeted analysis in various demographic and socio-economic contexts within the nation and international comparison within Europe and Central Asian MICS countries.
