Webinar: Introduction to MICS Plus
Exploring new approaches to data collection through phone-based surveys.

We are pleased to invite representatives of National Statistical Offices (NSOs) and other interested national partners to a regional webinar introducing MICS Plus, an innovative approach to collecting more frequent data on children and households through phone-based surveys.
MICS Plus complements traditional Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS), providing opportunities to generate more timely evidence to inform policy and programme decision-making.
The webinar will introduce the MICS Plus approach, explore its potential applications and key implementation considerations, and showcase the experience of Turkmenistan, which has already adopted the approach.
Participation is open to all countries, regardless of whether they have recently conducted or are planning a MICS survey. Countries with MICS surveys are particularly encouraged to participate.
Simultaneous interpretation in English and Russian will be provided.
